Open more organic markets to meet consumer demand, Lao producers advised
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Even though organic farming is on the rise, growers are still struggling to meet demand due to problems in customers accessing local markets.
An expert from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the Clean Agriculture Development Project in Laos, Mr Yuka Kinoshita, revealed the findings as part of a survey on organic markets during a meeting in Vientiane recently.
